SOAR Section 23

Limestone Learning Foundation

Students who attend the SOAR 23 program typically struggle with mood and anxiety that has made it difficult for them to manage in a regular school setting. These challenges have significantly interfered with their academic achievement, often due to frequent absences and disengagement from school. The program focuses on the “Big Ideas” of the Ontario Curriculum along with a social/emotional and life skills based alternative component. Each student will work within an individualized education program (IEP), tailored to their strengths and needs in each area.

The Limestone District School Board is situated on traditional territories of the Anishinaabe & Haudenosaunee.
