Special rules for recreational games:
Regular rules apply with the
exception of the following:
o Single day three
round game competition - no playoffs or championship games. This should allow
games to be competitive, but all kids get to play.

- half time -
- Games clock will start on the
half hour so be sure you have your team ready – if you are late getting
on the court you will have a shorter game. Clock will only stop for
injuries and half time. Buzzer will go to end the game at 20 mins after
the hour. This will give teams 10 mins between games.

min shifts - game will stop and lines changed every 6 mins. - no double shifting of players until the last shift -
equal playing time - divide your team into lines and shift every 6
- Running time
- Free throws
- Coaches can
refuse free throws on any foul (except on a shooting foul where the
basket counts and the shooter receives a free throw) for possession of
- If a free
throw opportunity is refused, teams will receive the ball under the
basket on the attacking end. (This will help speed the game up, and
allow for more playing time.)
- There is a
no-press rule - press will not be allowed - person to person defense
- No stop time
in last minute of game.
- No overtime
- if game is tied at the end of regulation - the tie will stand.
- Last shift
will be an "open" shift (play whoever you like).
