Laurie French, Trustee for Greater Napanee and Vice-Chair of the Limestone District School Board, will serve another term as President of the Canadian School Boards Association.

Trustee French was re-elected as President of the CSBA for 2020-2021 at the recent AGM with unanimous support of the board.

"I am so proud to serve another term in support of trustees and boards across Canada," stated French. "There is much work to be done in collaboration with provincial members and partners on many issues including COVID practices, Indigenous education, advocacy, anti-racism, school health, and education governance, to name a few."

The CSBA represents Canadian provincial school boards, offering support and advocating nationally for their shared interests.

Ms. French has been elected by the constituents of Greater Napanee to serve as Trustee since 1998.
