Feedback needed on secondary timetable model
Posted on 11/30/2021
Image of students sitting at tables in class and text Secondary Timetable SurveyOn November 19, 2021, new guidance from the Ministry of Education will permit school boards to resume a regular timetabling model of four courses a day starting in February 2022.

The board is seeking feedback from students, families and staff on secondary school timetable structures. It’s important to note that the timetable structure must consider instructions of the Ministry of Education, public health circumstances and direction, labour agreements, and alignment with our neighbouring school boards due to shared bus transportation.

Unfortunately, the turnaround time on this survey is short as decisions need to be made quickly so that any scheduling/rescheduling can be completed prior to February 2022. We will accept feedback until Tuesday, December 7, 2021.

We will not be able to accommodate everyone’s personal preferences, however, this input is valuable in helping us plan for the future. We appreciate you sharing your input. Thank you for your support.
