Trustee Jackson, who represented the districts of Portsmouth, Trillium & Meadowbrook-Strathcona, was a strong advocate for public education. In fact, Trustee Jackson attended a Board meeting just days before his passing.

“The passing of Trustee Jackson is a tremendous loss which will be felt across the Board and the City of Kingston,” said Board Chair Paula Murray. “David relished his role as a school board trustee and was always diligent in our collective responsibility to maintain and improve public education across our district.”

“From technology supports for students, to sustainability initiatives, David was passionate about serving every student,” said Murray. “In the coming days and weeks, we will be looking at how best to celebrate David’s life and dedication to Limestone.”
