Staff, students and the school communities of the Limestone District School Board share a long and positive relationship with the United Way of Kingston, Frontenac, Lennox & Addington. By working together, we can strengthen our community by bringing people and resources together to make positive change.

United Way KFLA supports a network of agencies and programs that help the most vulnerable and tackle the most pressing social challenges. When you give to the United Way, your gift will be invested where it has the most impact.

The well-being of children and youth is a key focus for the United Way. Youth Homelessness is one critical area the United Way has been targeting, investing additional resources over the last five years. As a result, more youth have access to shelters, housing, food security and mental health programs. In many ways, the United Way and Limestone share the same purpose, to ensure that children and youth are valued and supported, with opportunities and resources to help them reach their full potential.

Limestone employees are key contributors to the annual United Way workplace campaign. The Board is proud of  staff for their community through payroll deduction as well as volunteering with United Way agencies throughout the district.

Our communities are stronger, healthier, happier, and safer because of the help it receives from the United Way.

The Limestone District School Board is situated on traditional territories of the Anishinaabe & Haudenosaunee.
