Limestone Learning Foundation

School districts operate on a fiscal year that runs from September 1 to August 31. The district’s budget for the upcoming fiscal year must be approved by the Board before the end of June of the current year.

As part of the Limestone District School Board's commitment to be accountable, the Board informs its stakeholders of its budget for the upcoming school year to demonstrate how it uses its resources wisely, efficiently, effectively and equitably. The Board of Trustees also accepts submissions from school councils, employee federations, community groups and individuals regarding budget priorities for the upcoming school year. The public may send budget submissions through their local trustee.
