Read-A-Lot Summer Literacy Program

Limestone Learning Foundation

The Read-A-Lot 2.0 Summer Literacy Program 2020 is a three-week intervention program for Limestone District School Board students from Grade 1 to 8. The program focuses on developing fundamental skills in reading and writing which will allow students to be more successful in their following school year.

For Summer 2020, the program will be delivered virtually and will run from August 4 to 21, 2020. Students must plan to attend for the entire three weeks. 

Registration: This is a referral program. Student Support Teachers (SSTs) will contact families directly.

Staffing: The program is taught by Instructors (qualified teachers), with a Tutor (a university student) assigned to each class to assist. 

Fees: The Summer 2020 program is fully funded and offered at no cost to parents.

The Limestone District School Board is situated on traditional territories of the Anishinaabe & Haudenosaunee.
