Research shows that with the appropriate support, all students can be successful learners. Some students face more challenges than others as they learn to read, write and do mathematics. Limestone District School Board offers various programs to address these needs.

  • Math Homework Help: A free, live, online math tutoring from an Ontario teacher for students in Grades 7-10 who need help with math homework.

  • Remedial Literacy: Lunch-time and after-school remedial programming for language literacy for students in Grades 9-10. Please contact your school to inquire if this program is available.

  • Remedial Numeracy: Lunch-time and after-school remedial programming for mathematical literacy for students in Grades 9-10. Please contact your school to inquire if this program is available.

  • Right to Read: An after school program for small groups of students in Grades 2-6 who would benefit from additional practice with higher level reading and thinking skills.

  • Spring Literacy Tutors: A program for students in Grades 7-10 who require remedial literacy support.
